Privacy

The short version: what you type or paste into Scent Lilt stays in your browser.

The tools

The allergen checker, the calculator, the CLP label maker, the pet checker and the label decoder all run as JavaScript on your device. Ingredient lists, allergen percentages, supplier details and label text are never sent to a server, and they are not saved: close or reload the page and they are gone. Printing a label uses your browser's own print dialog.

What is stored on your device

If you choose a light or dark theme with the button at the top, the site remembers it in your browser's local storage under the name scentlilt-theme. Nothing else is stored, and the site sets no cookies.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to pages when they are served. It counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking, and it never receives what you type or paste into the tools.

Links to other sites

Pages link to official sources and to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
